A Carnival Of Fun For Everyone
Farmington, PA (April 20, 2009) – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is planning an exciting new Festival to be held on May 15 – May 16, 2009. This inaugural festival will be staged adjacent to the WildSide.
“We wanted to host a festival to celebrate spring, showcase the beauty of the season in the Laurel Highlands and provide an opportunity for families to spend the day together while enjoying a variety of activities“, says Jon Pitcavage, Director of Activities at the luxury resort southeast of Pittsburgh. “We know that it has been a long winter and that families are anxious to venture outdoors and enjoy the warmer weather.”
The highlight of the event for the younger set is sure to be the Carnival Games and Rides along with our Wild Animal Show while the adults can enjoy beverage sampling at the Wine and Homebrew Showcase or shopping at the Craft Fair.
The Spring Festival will feature live musical entertainment on both Friday and Saturday featuring local favorites such as Happy Endings with easy listening music, Matt Otis, an acoustic musician playing classic and recent rock tunes and Jackson Monsour whose entertaining style engages the entire family.
The $15.00 admission fee includes the Carnival Rides, Wild Animal Show, Musical Entertainment, Children’s Arts & Crafts as well as drink sample tickets for our guests over 21. There is no charge for children under 4.
