Located in a private and serene setting at Nemacolin's Horizon Point, the Holistic Healing Center focuses on integrative methods designed to achieve life balance and wellness. The state-of-the-art Center features four treatment rooms, a group and private meditation room, private consultation space as well as an outdoor Zen garden.
The Holistic Healing Center uses a holistic approach to achieve balance in all aspects of one’s life. Holistic medicine and treatments take into account the state of mind, emotions, physical body, lifestyle and goals, rather than physical symptoms of disease. The holistic approach allows individuals to evaluate every aspect of an individual lifestyle including mental, emotional, physical and life activity. Our highly qualified therapists, educators, wellness and medical practitioners can identify the imbalances within those momentums and begin to correct them. By applying appropriate treatment and education, individuals can restore balance and harmony once again allowing them to achieve personal goals and balanced health.
In addition to individual offerings, the Holistic Healing Center hosts many private group events, retreats and educational workshops. that are hosted by well-respected professionals in their individual fields of study.
My philosophy is keep moving forward. There is always the "what is next." My mind moves forward every day, but my body was starting to stand still. This was just unacceptable. I had heard from the people at our spa about this thing called acupuncture where they put tiny little needles in you and I would feel like new again. So I thought, "‘why not – let’s give it a go." That was over 10 years ago. Alik works miracles. Twice a week I’m at the Holistic Healing Center for Alik’s acupuncture and massage treatments and I’m certain that they are the reason I’m still on the go. At 92 years old, it’s great to still have the ability to keep searching for what’s next. And my body is keeping up!
