President's Day Weekend At Nemacolin
Farmington, PA (January 18, 2007) — With President’s Day Weekend fast approaching, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a great mini vacation without the hassle of airports and lengthy travel times.
The AAA Four-Diamond resort located on 3,000 acres outside Pittsburgh is ideal for families, couples or groups of friends wanting to get away for the holiday weekend. The resort’s Mystic Mountain ski area will be open for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. Special just for President’s Day Weekend, Nemacolin is showcasing its popular casual dining and entertainment option – Pub & Play. Set in the resort’s Marquis Ballroom, Pub & Play will feature numerous arcade games – including “play for tickets” games that allow patrons to accumulate tickets to redeem for prizes – pool and fuss ball tables, and a special bar style menu. Pub & Play is open from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 and Sunday, Feb. 18.
As part of the arcade experience, Bingo Mania is offered at 6:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with three games per hour and festive prizes for each winner. Pub & Play and Bingo Mania are available to overnight guests only.
For late night entertainment, the Hitchin’ Post Saloon inside the resort’s ski lodge is the place to be – with a DJ on Friday and the Stonee Ridge Band playing Saturday. All activities at Nemacolin Woodlands for President’s Day Weekend are open for day visitors (except Pub & Play and Bingo Mania).
