Farmington, PA (February 9, 2009) – The Woodlands Spa has created a new weekend event designed to provide an escape for guests who are dealing with increased pressures in our ever changing society. The Unwind Weekend will be held Feb 27 – March 1 at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort located southeast of Pittsburgh.
“Although we offer a variety of Spa packages throughout the year, the “Unwind Weekend” event features treatments and instruction specifically formulated to promote healthy living through stress reduction” says Lisa Meinhofer, Director of the Woodlands Spa. Meinhofer goes on to explain, “We have carefully considered each and every element of this weekend to promote relaxation but more importantly, we are introducing techniques that guests can incorporate into their daily routines to continue to nurture themselves.”
The weekend will include a number of Yoga classes as well as Guided Meditation and Aqua Aerobics. A “Healthy Living” cooking demonstration and “Un-Wined” tasting will be featured on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning features our one-of-a-kind Zen Boot Camp. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a Personalized Facial or Swedish Massage at reduced prices as part of the Unwind experience.
