The WildSide To Host Talent Competion
Nothing’s Too Wild To Win $5,000
Uniontown, PA (June 1, 2009) – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is searching for the area’s most talented performers as they prepare to host their first season of The WildSide’s Got Talent. This eight week series is slated to begin in early July and conclude in September at the WildSide, located at the luxury resort southeast of Pittsburgh. The competitors will be vying for the grand prize of $5,000 and the title of WildSide’s Most Talented.
“We know that talent shows are very popular right now and felt that we should create a competition to showcase some of the gifted performers who live locally”, says Trey Matheu, Nemacolin Woodlands General Manager. “We are not limiting the entries to any one category and are excited at the prospect of discovering some fresh new faces on the local entertainment scene.” Matheu explains that the performances will be judged by audience members through the first two phases of the contest with celebrity judges assisting during the finals. The resort is also inviting Pittsburgh talent agencies to attend the semi final and final rounds of the show.
Entries for the WildSide’s Got Talent will be accepted through June 14th and contestants can obtain official forms at the WildSide or online at nemacolin.com/thewildside. For more information, please call 724-329-6477.
The WildSide, an entertainment emporium which opened in December featuring bowling lanes, arcade games and a sports bar recently added the Nemacolin Race Zone, a remote control race facility. At the Race Zone, you can customize and build your own remote control car or monster truck and compete in races on the newly constructed track.
